Hallween Eve

Earlier today we found Brielle in her room playing on the piano and singing (more like yelling) Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I love the look she gives us when she realizes she's been caught.

Then tonight we had our fifth annual pumpkin carving extravaganza. Hendrick and Katie really wanted to join us this year (so much that they missed a high school playoff football game for it).

Hendrick did the catlike pumpkin and the count. Katie did the cute monster one in the middle.

I carved a Michael Jackson Thriller pumpkin and Brindy did the creepy pumpkin guy peeping through the blinds.

JaNae did the guy holding his eyeball and John did Freddie Krueger.

It's always fun to see how they turn out. While carving them you don't think they will and you try to be a perfectionist, but they always turn out better than you think they will. We all had lots of fun doing it.
